SEO-INDEX VariScripts
Cross-platform technical SEO, indexing, GEO and AEO diagnostics with a command-line toolkit and a local graphical workbench.
Source release · v1.4.0 in README MIT PythonPowerShellShellJavaScript
What problem does SEO-INDEX VariScripts solve?
Crawl access, redirects, canonical URLs, structured data and internal links can disagree. This toolkit collects that evidence in one workflow so site owners can investigate the disagreement before changing their site.
Is it ready to use?
The reviewed README documents v1.4.0. No GitHub release was published at the reviewed revision; use the source history and CHANGELOG for version context.
What does SEO-INDEX VariScripts do?
- Page Quality Audit checks page metadata, crawl eligibility, images, accessibility signals, response headers and JSON-LD.
- Internal Link Graph reports click depth, dead ends, orphan candidates, duplicate titles and links to broken or redirected pages.
- Redirect Lab, Crawler Access Matrix, Hreflang Auditor, Canonical Guard and Sitemap Doctor provide focused investigations.
- Export JSON and Markdown evidence, or explore the standalone HTML link graph.
- Run a loopback-only workbench with a session token and bounded, host-scoped audit requests.
How do I install SEO-INDEX VariScripts?
Before you install
- Use the launcher for Windows, macOS or Linux. The repository documents a dependency-light Python engine and tests Python 3.10–3.14.
- Review installation scripts before running them. Restrict crawls to sites you own or are authorized to test.
Clone the source and review its README before choosing an operating-system launcher. These commands do not submit any URLs to a search engine.
git clone https://github.com/foulfoxhacks/SEO-INDEX-VariScripts.git
cd SEO-INDEX-VariScripts
# Windows PowerShell launcher:
.\Win\Start-SEOIndexToolkit.ps1 The README also covers install.sh, macOS and Linux launchers, CLI commands and the token-protected local workbench. The hosted workbench accepts pasted evidence and CLI reports; it is not a public arbitrary-URL audit proxy.
What are the known limits?
- Toolkit scores are diagnostic heuristics, not Google or Bing scores. They do not guarantee indexing, rankings or AI citations.
- Live checks depend on the target server, network conditions and crawler-access policy. A crawler user-agent comparison does not prove how a search engine has indexed a page.
